Planning a trip to ride the three sisters in Leakey TX. Never been before and was checking to see if anyone had advice on ride itself, places to stay, experiences I should know about. Will be leaving from San Antonio. Riding two-up w/ wife. Thanks.
Depends on type of accommodations you want. Koyote Ranch, D'Rose Inn, many cabins and B&Bs around Leakey, Medina, etc. check out www.hog.com where I have some route suggestions. It is a fun place! Heading there in November!
May see you there. My son and me will be rididng over to Big Bend and plan to do the sisters on Monday on the way back to San Antonio.
Was typing while others were posting so repeating what TP just posted. Last time over to the area we stayed at Koyote Ranch which is on rt 16 between Kerrville and Medina. Friends have stayed at D'Rose Inn right in Leakey. Plenty of options.
Whoa, I thought you were asking about dating three sisters. Having once done that I would advise, one at a time. Three at once would be a fun suicide though.
Heading there in about an hour and a half myself. I've stayed in the Kamp Kabins at Koyote, and they were very nice. It's a top rate facility, and exceptionally clean. Trying D'Rose in Leakey this trip.
Here's a site with a description of two other loops to ride in addition to The Sisters.

Yeh, I just got a beer and sat down expecting a saucy write-up with maybe some pictures. Damn what a disappointment!
