Little Bighorn was pretty interesting. Gardiner at the north entrance to Yellowstone, good lodging (Yellowstone Motel), good restaurant (Two Bit Saloon) and good jumping off point for a day long tour of the park.
Idaho: Ketchum-Sun Valley, Stanley (great bakery), pick a road Idaho is all nice.
It's hard to find a bad road once you get out of the prairie. West from Glacier, going on Mt 2 to bonnets Ferry, then south to (all the way to Boise, if you want), or south from Kalispell through Seely Lake on MT 83, to Missoula, and/or anywhere around Yellowstone but then go to Jackosn by the Tetons. If you take the route to Bonners Ferry, head south to Lewiston, then hook up on US12 through Lolo Pass to Misoula. Again, all roads are great, except for the Interstate.
Here's one of my favourite Idaho routes.
#12 east out of Lewiston
then
South down #95 to McCall
and
South down #55 to Boise
then
East thru Boise to #21 North (the sign says "warning 99 miles of curved road")
and
#75 East to Challis
then
North on #93
Then you can either turn east to Wisdom or keep going north to Missoula
