Canada question
Yup! If you get to the border with a DUI person, be prepared for an extended wait at the crossing---after which, the offender will be refused addmission into Canada. The last time it happened to us , we were detained almost 4 hours. The person who had to interview my friend was at another crossing station and had to make the 90 mile trip back to Coburn Gore. Was she p*ssed when she got there! My friend kept saying that he would just turn around and leave---they wouldn't let him. He also tried the old "I'm an american citizen. I've got my rights!", but, guess what? When you're at the border station, you are in Canada, you don't have any rights.
If you have any friends who have a DUI, just have them straighten the matter out with the Canadians before you go.

Well, I am not sure if any of the guys have had a DUI, my guess is there probably one or two, I had one when I was 18, but that was 30 years ago. I guess we will stay in the US lol
