Yup! If you get to the border with a DUI person, be prepared for an extended wait at the crossing---after which, the offender will be refused addmission into Canada. The last time it happened to us , we were detained almost 4 hours. The person who had to interview my friend was at another crossing station and had to make the 90 mile trip back to Coburn Gore. Was she p*ssed when she got there! My friend kept saying that he would just turn around and leave---they wouldn't let him. He also tried the old "I'm an american citizen. I've got my rights!", but, guess what? When you're at the border station, you are in Canada, you don't have any rights.
If you have any friends who have a DUI, just have them straighten the matter out with the Canadians before you go.

Do NOT cross the border with a CCW. You WILL be arrested.

Yeah it sucks. The same goes for us we cannot cross into the US if anyone in our group has a DUI in Canada.

Get 2 passport photo's taken from just about anyplace, Costco, UPS stores, etc. Fill out the passport application, http://travel.state.gov/passport/for.../ds11_842.html

then take to a Post Office and pay up then wait around 4-6 weeks. Have a great trip.

Got my pAssport book in June, took 3 weeks much to my surprise! The info about the card here is also correct

Well, I am not sure if any of the guys have had a DUI, my guess is there probably one or two, I had one when I was 18, but that was 30 years ago. I guess we will stay in the US lol

I'll reiterate and stress what a previous poster said - absolutely NO firearms, concealed or not, and for sure, NO concealed weapons of any kind.

You will also need a special form of proof of insurance/ verification. Your motorcycle insurance provider will know what to provide you. Takes about 2 weeks to get it.
