We plan on doing this trip in Oct and staying in Bandera as our base. What roads are the 3 sisters? Thanks!

When you get to Kerrville look for the vistor's center north end of town...there, ask for the coupon for the nice map. Then go to the dealer who gives these maps away. They are laminated and very good of the area with marked rides including the 3 sisters. The short ride close to the dealer...on the map, is a fun ride.

Yes, you can come out of San Antonio on hwy 16 and you'll be 60 miles from the Koyote Ranch which is about 15 miles south of Kerrville.

Thanks! We are staying in Bandera for 4 days and should be fun....Do you use the coupon at a HD dealership? I would think the nearest would be San Antonio????

No, you use the coupon at a nearby bike dealer but he doesn't sell Harley's...but it's a nice looking dealership.

But there are Harley dealers closer than San Antonio...just look them up.
