I went through 1st week of June a couple of years ago. There was 2 feet of snow on side of road, and fog was so thick I couldn't see 50 feet. Weather was hot all the way across Montana, then cold in the Mountains.

The Mrs. and I have a 2 week trip planned starting the 1st of August. We count on the road being opened by then but als set for incliment weather.
