Our first stop, Bermuda.

Let me start by saying, you will not find another island where the locals are so receptive and love seeing the big bikes. Seems like the whole island is standing out to welcome you along the whole route. Just like being in a parade. Bermuda limits their bikes to 250cc. It took years for Steve (the owner of this travel company, and who comes on every cruise. He rides in the back of the chase vehicle and videotapes the whole kit and kaboodle.) to get permission from the government to bring the bikes to the island.

The first thing you do at every port of call is stop at a gas station to take on just enough gas to get around the island.

This first pic is after we gassed up and pulled along side the rode to wait for the remaining bikes to finish at the gas station. I had hopped off the bike. Rod was talking with a local lady and he felt the bike move. He thought it was me getting back on. Nope, he found a new friend and rider!

Here is a pic of the locals along the rode. This was EVERYWHERE!!!

Beautiful homes.

We stopped at John Smith Bay Beach.

Gibb's Lighthouse

View at Gibb's Lighthouse. You can see our ship over my left shoulder.

Still in Bermuda.

Riding through and avenue of palm trees......

and along clear blue water.

This island ride was lead by the police and the local Bermuda bike club, the Long Riders. There was over 50 bikes with us that represented their group. This was at Gombay's where we stopped to have delicious lunch. The Long Rider's got us going with line-dancing.

On your rides, traffic is blocked by your escorts.

The next two pics are our bike. Pic courtesy of Bernew's Bermuda.

Article by Bernew's. Pics and a video.

Here a a couple of my videos. Sorry about the wind and crappy quality. My camera that I normally use for video was giving me a fit. I had to use my old P&S. The first is short, just beside the water. The second is returning to the ship after a day of riding.

I would suggest you go to the individual cruise websites. They all have individual descriptions of their ships on them. Such as what's included, what's not, type of restaurants, entertainment. Example, our ship doesn't have the Flowrider (surf machine), but the Liberty of the Seas does. The Liberty is one step larger than the ship we were on. We enjoy the Flowrider, and have been on it on Liberty's sister ship, the Freedom of the Seas. We still enjoyed our cruise on the Explorer, even without the Flowrider!!

If you have specific questions, ask away. If not, just keep following along. We have 3 more islands to ride on!!!

Good post. I remember reading a thread here a while ago from someone who had been on one of these cruises out of Florida, but they didn't include all the great pictures like you did. Looks awesome. We are leaving on our first Caribbean cruise Monday morning, without the bikes of course. Taking the bikes along would be awesome.
