Riding 441 through Georgia
Looking for info on the road and good place to visit on the way. Plan on doing 3-400 miles a day as time is not an issue.

1-Monkey Bar/island- Near Homosassa Springs State Park.
There are you tubes video's of the area.
Basically a marina with a small monkey island in the center of the river.
Music on weekends. The Monkey Bar, Yardarm, Crab House (2 story building in north west corner).
Have something to eat or drink on shore and look at the monkeys or spend no money and just look.
2-Next: Look for you tube videos..Old school style zoo Think old florida 50'-60's, short boat ride and look at manatees and other animals
Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park $ 10 after 20% AAA discount.
4150 S. Suncoast Boulevard
Homosassa, Florida 34446

3.Ozello trail..about 9 miles in and then 9 miles back out (scenic route).
All three are in same area.

Rt 441S out of TN/through GA into FL is a descent/non-slab/yet fairly direct route with a good mix of scenery/accommodations... You will have no trouble finding gas/food/hotels/sights while avoiding Atlanta... I assume that YOU know when/where to get off Rt 441... Just South of High Spings, FL you'll get on Rt 45S, then 41S to Williston and there get on Rt 121S to Rt 19S and your in Crystal River, FL...
OR; Just South of Douglas, GA in Pearson you could take Rt 221 to Rt 129 to Rt 51 to Rt 19 but I think the above route is more scenic...
BTW... It's HOT down here already... May hit 100* Friday... Be COOL man...
Have a safe trip... See you in Central FL perhaps...
