I may do Hells canyon on the return leg of a road trip this summer. I checked out the route on google and HD ride planner. What can people tell me about the road from Enterprise to Halfway. Is it paved? Is the area well signed? There appears to be a lot of side roads to get lost on.
Looks like a beautiful ride.

 

Just did that trip last weekend--roads are paved and better than in Oregon cities--well marked--gas up in baker city, watch for deer, we really enjoy the ride from baker city to Cambridge Id

 

We'll be coming in from Clarkston Wa thru Asotin to Enterprise. Is there gas in Enterprise???

 

Yes there are plenty of gas stations in Enterprise.

If you are going to take the forest road from joseph to hells canyon--where the forest service road ends--take a left and ride along the snake river to at least brownlee dam. services are available in that area--enjoy the ride from Asotin south and stop @ bottom of canyon for ice cream at Bogans
