Rode through that area of Cali a couple months ago. I would have to say that California overall probably offers the best riding of any state due to the diversity of terrain and climate. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.
Nice pics! Good ya got to ride through before the closed the pass. Around here living with coyotes is a part of life. I'm good with them as long as they don't go after my cats!
I was down in your area last summer... Rode back and forth across the Sierra Nevada's on every road that crosses them. It was a great holiday. You live in a good area for biking.
I'm hoping to do that this Spring. I just arrived in the Sand Box (Middle East) and will be working here for the next four months. Then we ride..... I miss my bike already.

Great Pic's! Are the fires West of Yosemite finally out! I had planned to go to that area but because of the fires went to Colorado instead.
Yes, the Rim Fire is out. Nearly had to evacuate my house. It burned alot of terrain. Highway 120 is open, but all the side road going into the interior of the fire area are still closed. I'm hoping to get in there and survey that area this spring.

Yep, I love riding the passes. I'm looking forward to Spring.....
