I picked up my new Road King a little over a month ago and have put a little over 2,500 miles on it just cruising through the mountains around my house. Here are a few picks I took around the area.
Is that the 2014 edition? How do ya like it? Jamestown HD? I want one some day.
I get to ride that area every summer, we ride down from Calgary and can,t get enough of it.
Nice ride! For a moment there I thought maybe this would be a post crying about how terribly underpowered the bike might be. Judging by the pics you showed, I'm guessing it had no problems totin those hills! Looks like a GREAT riding area.
The bike is a 2014 Road King. I love it. It has plenty of power to pull over these mountain passes. The other day we crossed of the Sierra Nevada Mountains twice. West to East via Sonora Pass and then returned East to West via Tioga Pass. It was a great ride. I saw a coyote near Crane Flat in Yosemite. It was leisurely crossing the road as I approached on my motorcycle and then it moved off into the brush. I got real close to it and got a good look at it. It was a very healthy looking coyote. It was pretty cool.
I was down in your area last summer... Rode back and forth across the Sierra Nevada's on every road that crosses them. It was a great holiday. You live in a good area for biking.
