got to ride part of 66 :)
Set of in the morning to hoover dam which was great, then down to kingman arizona where we stopped at mr d,s diner which was some very good food ( I had the harley hotdog of course! ) and probably the best shake ive ever had. We then had a look around and got some pics then headed out to hackberry general store ( after realising we were on our way to phoenix and quick turnaround) lol, we were back on track and got to the general store, amazing place and after some souvenirs we made are way back to vegas and to top it off we renewed our vowels at the little white wedding chapel on the harley!

Totally amazing trip and chuffed I got to ride some of the old route 66, only regrets is didnt have time to go to motheroad hd in kingman for t shirt and would of liked to have gone to oatman, but theres another reason to go back to vegas!!

300 miles in total and the heritage was so comfy it felt like only done 20! So much do ive just put mini apes on my sportster as much more comfy. We have some pretty good rides over here in the uk but you guys acrosd the pond are so lucky, would luv to do some proper touring through the states!! Maybe one day. .......
Would love to ride Route 66 myself one day - there are some excellent threads in this forum on that very subject, with lots of detailed old maps to assist. Thanks for visiting - come back soon!
