Going for the first time.
How's everything setup? Is it all at one hotel? Do you have to pay for entry to the events?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The vendors are set-up through several parking lots in front of the casinos. Everything like that is free to include the concerts at night unless special ones inside the casinos but several are outside to include the Hogs & Heifers bar which is a show in itself. Tons of bikes. This will be my 1st year missing it in 4 years due to being deployed. Be prepared to pay premium prices for the hotel rooms. best thing to do is stay in Vegas and enjoy the ride there.
Unless you have your heart set on staying in Laughlin, consider staying across the river in Bullhead City or Lake Havasu City. Kingman is not that far away, either. This wouldn't work very well if you plan to consume a lot of beer/booze. In that case, staying within walking distance in Laughlin would be cheaper than a DUI or accident.
Going for the first time this year. I don't mind paying the premium for the rooms, because I really like not having to worry about driving after an evening of revelry.
Wife and I are going to Laughlin for the 1st time, will be staying at Harrah's. Room for 4 days is $770. I too don't want to ride at night after having a few koolaids during the day and evening.
Myself, a co-worker and our wives rented a three bedroom condo in Bullhead City directly across the river from the casinos. Water taxi near the condo. There were three couples but one couple had to back out due to family issues. SOO we have a bedroom available. We have the condo 4/21-27. $400.00 for the week and it is in a gated area. If interested PM me for further details.
