Since I have been there a few times, I can let you know what we did and how we liked it.\
We went to a fish boil at the post office restaurant (home of the fish boil) and it was awesome!
Went charter fishing off Ellison Bay. I can't recall the name of the charter right now.
Saw several lighthouses in the area. That was cool.
Went to Wilsons burger stand. Don't go. McDonalds is better than them and cheaper.
For lodging we stayed at eagleharborinn in Ephraim. VERY nice place. And the cherry granola cereal in the AM is AWESOME!
For a really nice meal, go to the white gull inn, located in Fish Creek. A little more expensive but your'e in Door County. What isn't expensive?
I would HIGHLY advise reservations if you go anytime between now and late fall. It will be SUPER busy.

As Dad was an early(1962 until the dome) season-ticket holder for the Vikings @met stadium can understand your frustration at Lambeau<sf>----and I'm waiting to ride up the cabin north of Park Rapids in a few weeks!
Did you go to Washington Island??
The weather sure did cooperate also!!

we had a blast on the trip. Door co is great place to see (little discrimination because the hd cloths and bikes but we got thru it)you have to keep your head on a swivel up there as the rest people have wine and cheese on the brains....
The motorcycle memorial is cool as hell......I like to get something like that here in mn...

no offense to my friends to the east I love your state from all the time I spend there snowmobiling in the north to the little towns in the south from the seat my bike you guys are the best...so again we mean no offense with this last pic.....
