Well, we are headed out this week for parts unknown (to us).
Wife and I have been planning a trip all year thanks to Zeuss33's roadtrip adventure last year.
Bought a new toy hauler, truck, and Ace$$orie$, well, if you have done it, you know the story.
We are planning on driving to somewhere around Rapid City - Keystone, etc and staying a couple of days to see Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, etc. Also, want to ride Needles Hwy and see Deadwood.
Then, we are planning to head to Cody, WY. for a couple of days. Chief Joseph Hwy, Beartooth, Yellowstone, Rodeo, etc.
Finally, down to Jackson and then home.
Hopefully, will have some pictures to post along the way.
If you have any suggestions or tips, please post them up.
Take the time you have allowed for Yellowstone and double it. If a squirrel moons someone, 200 cars will have to stop and take pics of it. Slow traffic and road repair can be a nightmare in the park.
Don't forget Red Lodge on the north end of the Beartooth. Plenty of good food and shops to wonder around in downtown.
Oh man I'm jealous. Can't wait to go again. In the Park don't follow a car into a buffalo herd. Chances are they'll stop in the middle for a picture leaving you unprotected. Let the guy behind you honk all he wants. When the ways clear, make your way through.
