Anyone familar with Minnesota / Wisconsin routes? We will be going thru Minnesota / Wisconsin July 13-14. We will be spending a night at Sioux Falls, SD & leaving Sunday morning to St.Paul/Minneapolis. Any suggestions which roads to take? We don't want to take the Interstate Highways. And then going to Green Bay Monday.

It depends on where in the twin cities you want to end up at. We use 23 which is just across the MN border from Sioux Falls but we head further north on it through St. Cloud before turning east towards Wisconsin. You can catch 212 or 14 east from 23. 23 is a good wide open road mostly through some big farm country.
Thanks for the suggestions on the SF to SP route. Now I was thinking about taking highway 12 then 10 to Fuel Moto at Little Chute, WI. Then to Green Bay down lake coast to Chicago.
Highway 29 in Wisconsin is a four lane that is a decent ride with no stopping all the way to Green Bay. You can pick it up east of Menominee off of I-94. When you get over east of Shawano a stop at Doc's HD is interesting.
If you plan to stop in the twin cities I would take Hwy23 to St cloud then Hwy 10 to the cities. If you plan to buy pass the cities stay on 23 all the way to Interstate 35 then drop south about to Hwy 70 east in to WI. or go north to Hinckley (about 2 miles) then head east to WI. I live off 23 and find it a better road to travel than 60 and 169 (to much high speed four lane) for me.
We will probably stop at Mall America then spend a night at Eau Claire Best Western Hotel.
At this time is there much major road construction on these roads that have been mentioned? I know it might change before July 13-14.
I would stay right on the St. Croix river in Stillwater, MN rather then the twin cities. It's a neat little river town with plenty to do and has a nice view with a bridge that opens up for water traffic. We stayed at the Waterstreet inn which is the only hotel in town on the river. http://waterstreetinn.us/
