Rush Baffles
Hi --- I noticed that Rush now has a 3.0 baffle. Will it fit into my Big Louies? I run 2.5s now, but when the packing wears down, they sound like straight-thru pipes. Need new baffles now. I bet the 3.0 baffle would sound great. 2011 Limited Ultra, Stage 1, Vance & Hines Power Duals. Thanks.

You can't run 3" on a stage 1 and be successful on performance .......... Rush will be the first to tell you that. When you go stage 1 with Big Louies you need the back pressure the 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 baffles provide. The 3" baffles are for a stock header with cat only. I had 3" and when I went stage 1, now run 2 1/4's.
Thanks for riding with Rush! Beaux is correct. 2.50" is the largest baffle you can use with open head pipes like Power Duals. The 3.00" is only for use with catalytic equipped headers. We recommend the 2.25" for most riders using aftermarket head pipes and the 2.50" as the largest.
