Which Headers
Getting ready to replace stock headers on my 2012 ultra limited. Trying to decide which way to go. Want to stay with duel exhaust. Leaning towards Rush true duels or V & H power duels have 4" Rinehart slip ons any advice would be welcome concerning performance, less heat, and sound.
The sound will definitely increase, heat should drop by 300 degrees (directly on the head pipe), performance should not decrease when properly tuned using a fuel management system. The stock system is very restrictive. When upgrading to our true duals and slip-ons with 2.00" baffles (and fuel management system) there will be a performance increase over a stock system. I believe your current slip ons will be similar to our 2.00" baffle slip ons so you should see an overall increase in power. The best feature I can point out is the inside/out ceramic coating. This provides drastic heat reductions when compared to the competition without the inside coating.
