Heat Shield

I have a 2006 electraglide ultra classic wit Samson caliber true duals. The heat shield that runs down the right side of my bike has a broken rear clamp. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to get a whole new shield? Where do I get a new one if it is needed? Thanks Eric

The heat shields on my Samson True Duals use standard hose clamps. Can't remember the size, but you can remove and replace then if needed.

We at Samson recommend using an all stainless steel hose clamp to reduce rusting of the clamp. They should be available at a quality hardware store or automotive store.

the clamps on the heat shields are welded to the backside of the heat shield and then chromed. if i was to buy a clamp and clamp the heat shield it would have to be around the shield and the exhaust pipe and would just not look good. there must be a better way to get a good look. Thanks for the replies Eric
