Default 2015 CVO exhaust help

have a friend just bought a 2015 CVO. Will the exhaust headers from a 2011+ 103 Cu inch fit the 110 motor ? he wants to De-cat but don't want to use his original exhaust.

for those that have done just the Decat.. how is the sound with the stock SE slip-ons ?

now he thinks the 110 will run ahead of a 107 build... i say i doubt it.

Any touring header from 09 and up will fit. The 09 was the last year to have 18mm bungs near the heads and 10 and up have the 12mm bungs at the collector.

I removed the cat out of an 09 header and put it on my 14. I already had slip-ons of another brand so I can't comment on the sound change but lots of posts say a little louder after cat removal.

Assuming it's a touring rig? He should be fine.

As for sound, louder then stock for sure.

I highly recommend a Turner!
Check out CVOHarley.com. Most of the members there are TTS and Fullsac groupies.

That combo works really, really well!

Congrats to your bud.

The 107 build will leave him like he's standing still. Even a mild stage 4 103" build will make him look stoopid!

Yep. The main difference is compression, cams and head flow.

Have him look into Zipper's 110 Muscle kit. It's a kit that includes head work, pistons to bump compressions and cams designed to make 110s (including twin cooled) produce 120-130 hp/tq. range. A few other parts like 58mm and clutch are needed as well.

Well that is what I did. I went to cat less headers but I am using the stock SE mufflers. I like the way they sound. Not real loud but has a rather deep tone. They do not inter fear with our sounds but you can hear em.
I suggest to do the headers then see if you want something else. That is what I did.

Yea the 107 will get him.
