Default Seat advice

Anyone want to advise me on seats for '14 CVO RK? I had a Mustang on my VTX and I liked the stocker on my Heritage, but I want something lower in profile for this more aggressive looking bike. The stock seat looks good and is comfortable enough, but I'd like to move back a little. I'd also like to preserve the stock seat. No sense in wearing it out and not having it in the future, or even worse, spending $ on a seat that isn't the best for riding. Not concerned about passengers, but don't like to see the mounting studs or the hole for the pillion, either.

Thanks YB. Ordered the C&C Fastback today with a 5% discount from a vendor on this forum. I got some Corbin recommendations and a couple C&C backers on the CVO forum, and one or two Danny Grays and LaPeras. I figure Corbin probably is a little better known so take that into consideration and the C&C is recommended as strongly and with the discount is about $105 less.

PUMA,

The stock CVO Solo seats look real good, but for most folks, they don't do justice for their butt bones.

You won't be disappointed with a C&C Saddle!

Nice Ride my friend.

The stock seat isn't uncomfortable for the butt. I just feel like I'm too far forward on the bike. I'm willing to bet the C&C is more comfortable, however. As far as a solo, it sounds petty but I don't like seeing the mounting studs, and I don't like the rear mounting hole and screw hanging out not attached to something. I think the Fastback with the minimal rear seating should do the trick. The OL can't ride anymore so her comfort isn't a consideration. And thanks, you have a beautiful ride as well.

C&C is the way to go if you want the custom look and better comfort than stock seat.

I can't believe you don't find the stock seat uncomfortable! I find after about an hour I am starting to hurt. I just bought an air seat and will be using it for any longer rides, and keeping the solo for the short rides through town, or my daily ride to work and back.

Default Update

I finally got a chance to ride with the C&C. Not once did I try to move back on the bike. An improvement for sure. Looks good, too. Lines up nice. Just needed a little muscle to attach the rear screw as C&C's tab was up off the fender a bit.
