I have a 2015 Ultra Limited CVO and have ordered the full upgrade to Stage II Boom.
The Current reviews on the Harley Davidson Site (USA) are not sounding good
The Flashing the AMP seams to be an issues and Sounds is cuts out at the high volume
There are several threads in the Rushmore area with the cutting out issue. If it were me, I'd wait until HD gets it figured out. Here are two, but there are more. Send dgreen1069 a PM as he went through and through and through it and ultimately had the system removed and Boom I reinstalled.

I have contacted the Dealer to check in to this A.S.A.P
I was wondering if anybody else have done this Upgrade and having any issues
Thank
I'm the CreeseHD review on the Harley site that had to have mine removed and refunded by the dealer as well. Apparently there is a "fix" that just came out on March 25th. I still didn't trust it from all the issues I had before. There are some that swear by it, but the majority have had major issues. There was a PA released by Harley saying it is a software flash and amp issue. Make sure your dealer is aware of it. Certain amps could not be flashed. I would spend my money elsewhere.
I was all for the BOOM II after hearing it in the display and after install while the bike is sitting still. If you go more than about 10 mph you lose a lot of clarity. If you get on the highway, you can forget about it. It cuts out and clips. Ultimately it blew the speakers. My dealer stepped up and ordered a new system and was going to install it after March 25th. I decided to just have it removed. The entire process with Harley was a PITA...
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=100022.0 Look for the attachment of the Service Bulletin PA I posted on page 6. I'll try to post it. Just read through the thread from the link above to understand the issues.
It may be fine with the fix now, just make sure...

After the aggravation that Creese and I both went through, I wouldn't install the Boom Stage II system if Harley gave it to me for free. I don't know what the problem was with mine, but the Boom I system that came stock on my CVO sounds MUCH better at highway speeds than the Boom II system. Having said that, mine had issues with clipping and cutting out at higher volumes (which are needed at highway speeds).
My dealer tried everything and ultimately ordered new front speakers to try to fix it. They called me a couple of days later explaining the speakers were on backorder until the end of April. Since the system hadn't worked right a single day, I insisted Harley pay to put my bike back to stock.

If you haven't had this installed yet, I'd definitely hold off. I wish I had not been in such a rush myself. Although my bike is back to stock, I have extra holes in my tourpack pods now because of the Stage II speaker install. Since I had the system removed I had to put plugs in the holes. Not a huge deal, but it still pisses me off. On top of that, my dealer tapped into my wiring harness trying to install the fairing speakers. There is a way around that, but you dealer may end up doing the same. The problem is that the wiring harness is not the same on the CVO's as the other bikes. The engineers did not take into account the parts necessary for installation on a CVO Limited.
I don't think the system is even right on the CVO Street Glides.....there are several forum members with 2015 CVO SG's on CVOHarley.com who are reporting the cutting out issues.....and the system came stock on their bikes.

That is a real shame guys. That boom II came on mine. Three speakers in each location for 12 total. It gets two 300 watt amps, one in my left bag and I guess the other is behind the fairing. It sounds awesome and hasn't given any problems in 3800 miles of riding so far.
Well Dave, I tore into mine tonight, so I may try and get it done either later today (Friday) or Saturday, I have to do a few things today so I'm not sure if I will get to finish it. My wife wants to ride later today when she gets off work at noon, so I may not get anything accomplished on it, but hey it is torn apart and I have made my wiring harness and installed the front part, so worst case, I will know something by Wednesday. I sure am glad I have two bikes, or I would have to ride with no tunes, and then I might have to talk to my wife, yuck.

Lol, now THAT would be a real problem. Good luck, hopefully you can get it working and it sounds awesome.
