Hi. I want upgrade audio on my 13' CVO ULTRA. Is it true stock amp under tour pack only powers front speakers? ?? I'm not at all impressed with present audio performance. Going to upgrade front speakers to 6.5 inch but sure about amp. Thanks
Now that I think about it, I think that the 14s are different than the 13s as far as the audio goes, so how mine is could very well be different than yours. For one, my amp is in the fairing.
Ya i do know rushmore bikes are fully amplified. I wanna say i read somewhere that 13' and prior only front are amplified. If that's the case i was going to upgrade fronts to 6.5" quality speakers and use hogtunes 2 channel amp i have for rear along with 6.5" good speakers.
Good question. I just went back through my pictures to see if there was a second amp under the fairing. I couldn't tell from my pictures. Regardless, dump the stock amp(s) and get yourself into some good quality aftermarket parts. Do your research and spend the money and time once......
there is a new audio boom system now. How ever I strongly suggest you up your amp out put. They have a kit for it as well. Just saying I'd prefer to have my system charging instead of discharging if I put more of a demand on it. Now for the speaker and speaker kit. Let's sum it up as a WOW, it's loud, clear and worth it! Three friends have it and all three love it! Just saying.. Saddle Up!
My best advice is too call Kevin at Dragonfly and order up a Focal system from him ! I have had mine installed from them on my 2014 Ultra . It fricken Rocks ! Worth every penny and then some . Great guys to deal with and will look after you if you have any troubles ! You will never look back ! Trust me
No I don't work for them either . I live in Alberta Canada !
