Anyone familiar with this type of ignition security. I think the silver disc in the center is a proximity sensor. There is a sensor under the disc. It takes place of the ignition switch for the regular RK. Am looking to use this console and wonder if a dealer can program this sensor to my FOB or do I have to buy a new one?
Ok, since non of you are weighing in, I did a little more research. The disc is part # 70900365 and it is called a "LIGHT, LED TANK CONSOLE" I think now it is the module that controls the color of the LED's on the console. I understand you can change color somehow. So, does anyone have the wiring diagram and want to help a brother out?
I think you may have to look in the Harley-Davidson 2014 FLHRSE Model Service Manual Supplement P/N 99600-14. I have the Touring Service Manual & the Electrical Diagnostic Manual for 2014 but I don't see anything for this ignition.
Man the last thing I'd do is take a keyed ignition off a bike and replace it with keyless system. Harley is still trying to make compensators and wheel bearings last more than 30K miles.

I was just going for the cleaner look. I can swap my ignition switch for that disc and it will turn on. So I might have to go with that, just change the plug underneath.
I found out from HD tech support that the only thing that does is light up for a little bling when the engine is running. So I guess I will have to install my ignition switch. I have a lead on a 2013 CVO seat and I understand the seat is a little short on the front so it would have a gap between the seat and the console but since I have the CVO console, it will fit just right. Now if I could just sell those SG wheels...
