I am not say I am not going to do it, nor that I am, nor that anyone shouldn't. It's really up to the individual on what they are willing to risk and how they want to handle it. It really is a 40K+ machine that has a first year motor. I am not going to lose the 7 year warranty on my engine. That's for sure.
I stopped worrying about complying with the rules and just started enjoying my 40k investment while I can. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, things can be worked out with all parties happy in the end. Not all Stealerships are bad.

I have a 17 CVO Street Glide, with the Fullsac 2.25 baffles. It is a little louder than stock but not much. The factory CVO exhaust is straight through for 17, which it was not in years prior. The new cat is much larger and more restrictive.

It would be real hard to deny warranty based on Fullsac cores. Keep the removed factory core and show them there is almost zero difference. Most dealers would never notice the core change any ways.

I am really liking the new motor over the 110. I have had the 09 CVO Road Glide, put 46K on it. Then got a 12 CVO Road glide, put 45K on it. Then I got a 13 CVO Road king, which I still have, its my built hot rod. Then I got a 15 CVO Road Glide Ultra, which I put 43K on. Now I have the two month old 17 CVO street glide with 6350 miles on it already

Just wanted to post a reply to the original video thread. The baffles in the video are the 2.5" louvered core, which are much quieter than our zombie baffles unless you are running an aftermarket header. In defense of the gentleman who posted the video, this was the only offering in the early going and he purchased from a dealer who didn't know we were releasing louder baffles very shortly thereafter. Informationally I wanted to share two videos. Once a sound clip of the louder baffles with a stock head pipe and one comparing all of the options you can get with the TAB B.A.M. sticks. Thank you to all who take the time to view.

I went with V&H Eliminators. I had Rineharts last 2 bikes and wanted a change. I'm pretty happy, the stock SE's sounded like a sewing machine.

I also have Rineharts on my 17 I also have installed their slimline headers and put a good tune on the bike. Runs and sounds great.
