cutting out pushrods?

cutting out pushrods?
the first pushrod i cut out i forgot to find the base circle on the cam. and the pushrod came out kind of fast. should i be worried about anything?

Nothing to worry about.
Just be sure you time the cams correctly in the cam plate and install (dot to dot, line to line). Rotate the engine with the back wheel in top gear until you can install the pinion shaft gear and the rear cam gear dot to dot (with the chain around it). That's it as far as engine timing for a TC.
I can't help with adjusting the push rods, I never cut them and pull the solids out the rocker box.
