yes i did
it does increase the volume of the sound .
i only have 2200 miles on bike and new baffles installed at 800 in spring but they are getting louder every day they sound nice.
sorry all audio is subjective but with the cat still in there it wont sound like my 2014 with Rush true duels and thunder max tuner and i don't know if i care this time around.
i wanted to not get run over because somebody wouldn't hear me next to them i accomplished that , but i am always on the bike not standing behind it or riding along side on the hwy so i cant comment on the sound.

I keep hearing that the right side baffle removal is more difficult than the left. Is that true?

sorry mine was done at dealer they made some notes regarding difficult install
"required grinding off oem welds and punching out stock cores a large drift. cores were rusten inside muffler and very difficult to remove [did not slide right out as instructions stated] extra time required for removal and cleanup of rust built up on inside of muffler tube.
this is a quote from invoice 3 hours labor @75 per
again this is a one off i didn't due the install and i didn't discuss rust build up with only 800 miles on bike thought it was strange but it is a done deal.

Thanks for all the info. One last question, did you add a tuner?

no stock this time i am very happy with performance of the 114, i had a tuner on 2014 limited called thunder max it was a nice combo with cats removed and a set of rush duals , but without removing cats for a couple years i didn't see the value of a tuner. my experience and just my experience is factory stuff [OEM} was more reliable i went thru a learning curve as did thunder-max on the 2014 i don't want to duplicate . i plan on long trips with this bike and don't a dealer in some other town questioning warranty etc. i am confident in factory set up and just changed pipes for safety reasons mentioned before.

I have about 8000 miles on my 2.25 Fullsac baffles in my 17 CVO Street Glide. I do not think one side was harder to do than the other.

The do get a bit louder until around 2500 miles or so. With the restrictive head pipe cat, it will not be real loud. Then again no slip on is real loud with the cat headpipe on the M8.

Forgot to ask, did you reinstall the packing?
