Bought bike CVO Street Glide 23 November 2017. Did 60 kilometers and the oil light came on. Dealer pulled down to look at oil pump found an O-ring not seated properly. Got bike back but the bike didn't feel right. Did another 4000 Kilometers and oil light came on checked oil dipstick, no oil on it. Rang dealer they told me to put oil in and bring it to them next day. they told me to do another 1000 Kilometers and bring it to check the oil. I did and it was all most of the dipstick.
They contacted Harley Australia and was told to change the motor. Harley Davidson found that there was an oil ring missing from the motor. Good quality control NOT!!! The motor was replaced but now the bike is vibrating, both at Idle and while riding. Tires are also cupping and that started not that long after motor changed. Was wondering if the motor is not lined up or rubber mounts need attention.
I have 10,000 km on the bike now and the bike is back at dealers now as I am about to do a 4,000 km road trip.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Unfortunately, with any mass produced item we can expect on occasion the "lemon." It is good to hear the engine was replaced.
It it sounds like two separate issues when mentioned , engine vibration, tires cupping. The engine vibration would be difficult to determine. The usual suspects would be loose or worn engine mounts and alignment. Give it some break in time and watch oil levels closely. Tires cupping first look at tire pressure.
Safe riding.
Dealer keeps on saying feels ok to them but I do have a video where it shows the bike vibrating. It vibrating more than any other touring bike I have owned.
Two Roadkings and last years CVO Street Glide. It also vibrates more than when I first got it and it only started after new Engine. I kept tire (tyre) pressure 38 front and 42 back. could engine not in line also cause tire cupping??

I would say the tire cupping issue is unrelated to the new engine/ vibration. Tire cupping occurs over time. Just doesn't sound plausible that you had the engine replaced, now in just a short number of miles the tires cupping....Hmmm.
Is the engine vibration during idle or when cruising, or both?
16,000km since motor replaced, all good. Replaced engine mounts, exhaust hanger and aligned right exhaust, seems to have fixed vibration problem. Checked transmission oil 1,500 Km ago and no oil on the dipstick. Took the bike to Dealer and sure enough, oil had transferred to the primary. The dealer did an oil change and informed Harley Australia who said they will do the engine seal washer fix. Been checking transmission oil since oil change and no loss so far. I have read on some of the forums that the seal washer fix has not worked on some, so I am wondering if I should go ahead with it or leave it and see if it happens again. Oh well that's what a warranty is for and as long as things get fixed all good
