I shared this on facebook. Please spare all the "get another bike, your bike isn't built for that, bla, bla, bla,
The other day on the interstate I thought"lets see what she'll do! I've been to 115map before so wanted to see how fast she'd go. Speedo only goes to 120 and she got there with plenty to go but as soon as it hit 120mph it like a governor held it back. I new the new M8's are restricted to 110mph but I didn't think the older bike were. 16 cvo rg by the way. Thoughts. Is it the ECM? She was rock stable.

Have you put a fuel management system on? If not get the FP3, freaken awesome. Fuel pack 3 by Vance and hines
I've got one on my dyna. I really like it. If I keep this bike is will get some serious motor work so probably have to run something else.
I saw a supercharger on a twincam and said, man I gotta get one of those! Wishful thinking, but would like to know if it will shred the tire in no time. I haven't even scratched the surface with the FP3 and it's innovative features, I set it for what V&H said for my pipes and the hiflo air filter and then to do a few autotunes, so far it runs great, but sometimes it lugs off line like it needs more power, haven't ran it out yet to see limit, but it's coming...
Traded my 08 numbered edition Low Rider for this 15 Road King, I've had many Harley's and really like the long distance running of the Road King, comfortable and no problems passing the idiots.
