Mines at the dealer now for TPMS issue with red warning light and tire light coming on, blinking at first, then both on solid. Happened out of no where. 2016 CVO Limited. Tire pressure was within specs. We shall see what they come up with.
I had the exact same issue, they replaced the rear sensor and re-calibrated.
Two days later, same thing again. Usually around 70 mph but its random.
Dealer said bring it in and leave it, let mother Harley take a look.
has anyone received a good answer on this? I have a 2017 CVO Limited that started having problems a week after installing a new rear tire, took it in and they replace the rear sensor, two days later it started doing it again. It doesn't matter how air I out in it, the low-pressure light comes on and throws a code.
Well I experienced this yesterday for the first time. I have. 2017 CVO Limited. I keep my tires at 36/40, checked them before leaving home. It was 76 degrees out at 10 am. Ride at interstate speeds approximately 35 miles and get the solid RED light and the yellow tire pressure light.
Click the button on top of the right switch pack and ZERO indication on the front wheel. I’m two miles from the exit we were getting off at for breakfast and fuel and by the time we stop the indicator lights are out and it is reading the PSI again.
The bike is two years on the road now with 20k miles and the first time this has ever happened. I also just had new tires front and rear installed three weeks ago with approximately 400 riding miles on them.
Just a fluke, or should I have the dealer look at it? We rode approximately 220 miles yesterday and it did not happen again.
Does anyone here happen to know if the TPMS sensors are hermetically sealed?
I'd like to install Ride-On tire sealant and balancer in the tires but don't know if it's ok.
Ride-On said as long as the sensors Harley uses are hermetically sealed, it's fine. I tried contacting Harley HQ's, but no one knows?

I thought the only thing hermetically sealed was the mayonnaise jar in Funk & Wagnalls library on the Johnny Carson show?
I took mine to the dealer and had them disable it ($42.50). They wanted to start checking all kinds of crap that has been checked by 4 dealers and no one can seem to figure out the cause. Screw it. Thats one of the bells and whistles that I can live without. I have to check my wife's bike anyway. Good luck to everyone else.

I have been running Ride On in my rear tire for last 14K miles with no issues. TPMS still works fine....
