What else🤔🤔
Hi Chaps,I have a 2011 Ultra Classic CVO and am wondering apart from your regular service is there anything need to be done on a CVO for the health of the bike compared to your regular engine Harley.the ABS FAILS Hv made me think is there anything else I shd be keeping an eye on.

More than a little problem with the lifters. They fail, some where between 20K and 45K miles usually. When they fail, they can take out the motor. Two of the four CVO's with 110 have had lifters fail. The 15 CVO RGU they failed at 44K miles, 5 days before the bike was 2 years old. New motor installed by HD.

My CVO will get a lifter change at 15000 miles. S&S standards for me. I have ESP but prefer not to have a serious engine problem 1000 miles from home. Stock CVO lifters are junk the 255 cams do nothing to help. Changing lifters is not a big job if you know a little about engines and own a service manual. Hope this helps.
