Default 2018 CVO road glide

Well I did it, went to the dark side. I guess I am now a shark nose guy. Picking up a new CVO road glide today.
I have a 2014 street glide as well but the M8's are a whole new animal!
Questions about exhaust:
Where is the catalytic converter on the new bikes? I heard they were in the muffler now? So if I put slip ons on the bike I lose the cat.?
What slip ons do you guys recommend? The louder and deeper the better.
Thanks in advance. The sound system is awesome. It has one less amp than the CVO street glide but it still rocks

Congrats!

Cat is in the header not the slip ons.

I run Neighbor Haters and they are very deep/loud. Fullsac baffles will also work well but likely not as loud.

yeah, and the headlights don't turn with the handlebars, and the radio controls are too far away. them damn road glides. worst bike hd ever made ;D

congrats on the new bike. i want one, but i just made my final payment so i'm going to enjoy not having payments for a while....

there is a 'full flow se' exhaust system that you can buy that puts the cats in the muffler inlet, under your saddlebag and away from your foot. it's expensive at around $1100 and the mufflers have a different sized inlet on them so you couldn't just put any slip on on the header pipe.

Or you can do the S&S M8 Mk45 full epa compliant exhaust which gives the option to remove the sound baffle if you choose to and still have a warranty compliant exhaust.

That color really sucks bad!

Fullsac is the way to go for performance. For loud CFR or Neighbor Haters. Performance and loud are not one and the same.

I have a fullsac headpipe and fullsac muffler cores in mine. Really wakes it up.

Just over 6000 miles on mine.

Default Nice dyno

That is an impressive power increase for just a head pipe and mufflers. 10 and 10 is respectable. Beautiful bike. I just had to already go out and buy a new windshield. There was no protection at 80 miles per hour on the freeway. Put a 12in wind Splitter on it and it is better. Thanks for the advice!
