2004 electra glide cvo oil probs
Looking for ideas about whats wrong. When i start up my oil pressure runs a little high, Once its warmed up almost all pressure goes away and i can hear my engine ticking. Anybody have any ideas about whats going on? This is at idle. Once rpms are up oil pressure comes up and ticking goes away.

Could be a variety of things including failing lifters that are not pressurizing correctly. how many miles on your bike?

Before you get crazy internally, is this something new? Did you recently change the oil, maybe use a different brand filter or oil? If no changes, I would change the oil and filter just to eliminate any chance of a bad pressure bypass. Then if it is still a problem you are going to have to go into the motor and look at the oil pump I would think.
