i've not seen a cvo with a blank derby cover from the factory. mine has one cause i changed out the primary cover and went with the narrow and had to get a new derby cover. but in stock form, i've always seen them marked. did you get it used?
My '15 CVO RGU was blank chrome new. I changed it out for a stock CVO Street Glide 110 cover which had the logo and decorative ring around it. Had no issue ordering stock cover from dealer. I thought it odd too that it was blank but all the '15 RGU were like that.
