Am looking for nice loud set of pipes for my 07 SERK. Any recommendations? Is anyone using the Hookers on their 07? If so would appreciate you letting me know what you think of the performance, sound and whether you needed a Power Commander or Race Tuner, Etc.
All recommendations on loud pipes are welcome. Had an older carb 88 and missing the sound. SERK has loads of power.
I have a '06 SE Ultra with V&H True Duals, Ness Big Sucker and a PC III. Last year while in Sturgis I had the Hooker tuned-flow slip ons installed and the bike dyno tuned. The bike ran very well but the Hookers were way too loud for me. In fact I've had over a half dozen different mufflers on this bike and the Hookers were probably the loudest. Seems everything is louder with the big bores and true duals. I'm currently running the V&H Ovals and while they sound pretty good they are still louder than I would like. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Just installed the Hookers. They are a lot louder than the stock - sound terrific IMHO. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to really add some sound to the bike.
i dont have a CVO, but i have a stage 2 103 big bore kit and im running hooker fourbiddens.....absolutly love them, make lots a low end torque, and sound awesome!!!
a few people thought i made them, cause they kinda look like the header off a V8
several people i ride with have told me they aint ridin behind me anymore, cause the bike is so damn loud
