Default 2019 CVO exhaust

Dose anyone know what pipes are in the 2019 CVO? The dealership told me they were screaming eagle but I don’t see that from the look of it. I’m more curious than anything before I replace them. I’m pretty set on relaxing them with a set of 40th anniversary Vance & Hines but I want to know what I’m replacing.

Screaming eagle exhaust normally refers to street cannons, CVO's do not come with street cannons, they are however a little different from the regular and special touring models. I tried to run mine for a couple of weeks but just couldn't do it, they had to go.

Not sure if they changed them up since '18 but mine had CVO specific cans on it. I replaced the guts with Fullsac Power Cores - no real performance gain that I could feel but it sure sounds nicer. Kept the stock appearance, too, which I liked.

What size power core did you go with? I did the 2.25 and they really woke the bike up.

The head pipe on the CVO is the same as the other touring bikes. Mufflers are a bit different, but not screamin eagle, they are CVO specific.

They are easy to gut and put in Fullsac power cores. I run the 2.25 in my 2019 just like I did in all my previous CVO bikes

The M8 CVO slipons have a 12" long, 2" diameter perforated 1/16 hole baffle with a quiet baffle stuck in. I have re-cored several with the Fullsac and Big Louie louvered baffles in sizes from 2" to 2.5". With stock head pipe the 2.25" seem to work best for sound and bottom end torque. With a no head pipe cat the 2" work best for maintaining bottom end but the 2.5" Big Louie definitely sounds the best. If you are really adventurous you can even make a stepped 2.25 to 2.5". Replacing the baffles with Fullsac or Big Louie baffles is easy and much cheaper.

Default Exhaust

Left mine on for a month. Replaced with Rineharts Slimline system. Some don't like but couldn't be happier.
