CosmicRazorback i hope i read your post right. Sounds like you have a really cool wife. Years ago i was with mine at yhe dinner table and was trying to sell her on another bike. My point was i had one when we met the boy was getting older so he could ride on the back. She was like well you have a point and it would be fun. We sort of left it there. I took off work at noon the next day and rode home on a new Heritage that evening. I still remember how far her jaw dropped when i pulled up. She was like well i guess its on me i never said no!!LOL!!
I never thought Id drop the coin on a CVO either but the more time goes by I find myself eyeing a used one here and there. Im notoriously cheap but I believe Id probably spring for one some day. The wife is digging the CVO trike with the lighter color paint scheme, and so am I. Ill probably beat this 103 down the highway till the kiddos are older. Having three littles from 10mo to 6yrs old puts a damper on mommy/daddy riding time.
Just got mine over the weekend...traded in my 18SGS on it. Didn't like 2 of the 3 color options, love the one I chose. Looking into Magnaflow 4" Knockouts to retain use of my factory heat shields (Had TAB Perf. w/ Zombie baffles on last bike as well)...and will put similar 12" Apes like I had on my 18 (Mayhem's). Loving thus far!

Congrats on the new ride! I have the magnaflow knockouts on my 2019 cvo sg, they sound awesome(especially after my new cam). I really like the 2020 seat, I can't seem to find a part number, if it's not too much trouble could you look under and pass along the p/n. Thank you sir!
Just came back from the local Harley Dealer. They have a Red 2020 CVO Street Glide on the floor, beautiful looking machine. 48k and change plus tax.. No thank you.. Not a matter of affordability, it's a matter of common sense here. I guess it's a matter of want. Do you want it bad enough to spend almost 50k on it ? Personally I do not..
Nope, Red is not one of the three colors for the 2020 CVO street glide, they are rather plain this year. Colors for 2020 are Black Stardust Fade, Sand Dune and Smoke Gray/Black Hole.
I think Harley really blew it this 2020 model year with the CVO's (all bikes actually except Lowrider S) offering far less for just too much money. A CVO trike is ridiculous. If Harley wanted to do something for the growing trike market how about offering it with both the Electraglide fairing and the Roadglide fairing for a new twist. I would have liked to have seen the CVO models this year include a CVO Limited, a CVO Roadglide Limited and a CVO Roadking.
Yep they blew it on paint jobs. They removed XM, a 400 dollar savings for the MoCo. Not sure what else the removed on the Limited. On the SG they removed lowers, amp, pair of speakers. Lower cost 350 dollars, but they still save 1000 dollars in stuff no longer included.
....... au contraire
.... the CVO TG could be the one machine that dealers can charge MSRP+ for
....& buyers will still line up
General Manager at the dealership I use says the typical trike buyer spends far more on accessories at time of purchase the Touring bike buyers. He says the amount they spend on accessories over the cost of a trike is a lot more then the price of a CVO trike. The CVO Trikes sell as soon as they get it, the others take several days on the floor this year.
