I have been quoted $800 for my SGS. All painted parts and the wheels using IGL eclipse on the wheels and kinzo on the paint. I dont know if that is reasonable or not or if IGL is a good product. I will be searching the web tonight.

Did you apply the coating or had it done?

I had it done professionally. I was not happy with the results after it was done and the shop stripped the coating off the bike and redid the entire job. Now I am very pleased with it.

That is my concern. Or that it isn't really applied, especially the wheels. But I guess I will know after a good ride.

Just a follow up. Bike looks awesome. Even the seat looks right off the showroom floor. Question: Do just use regular car wash when cleaning your bike now? I figured I would also get one of the blaster dryers to get the water off. The installer did give me a bottle of material specifically made to apply if I get water spots.

You can save yourself some money and use a leaf blower instead of a blaster dryer. Been doing it for years with good results.6.8.0
