Thank you. Ya, Rode yesterday and used the other fob and never got the light! Came home and did a fault check, had a BCM and SPDO fault. Cleared and will see what happens.
It could also be a stuck or defective clutch safety switch. Try starting your bike in gear with the clutch lever pulled in. If it starts as normal you can disregard my suggestion. If it wont start, check to see if the little button/switch located behind your clutch lever is stuck.

Usually the security light will stay on if the fob batteries start going bad. I would replace both. It can also come on for any number of electrical issues from a bad bulb in a turn signal to a short somewhere. Since it went away with the other fob, sounds like it’s your fob battery.
Thank you, I change the battery in the affected fob. Weather changed, unable to take it out and check.
