I have a 2021 CVO Ultra in bronze armor. I installed the 2.5" fullsac baffles. The bike sounds better but still too tame for my liking.
My 2012 Road Glide had Rhineharts. They sounded great but were a bit too quiet also.
My 2014 Limited had RCX exhaust. They were louder, but had a higher pitch.
I would love and exhaust with the tone of the Rhineharts and the volume of the RCX.

Any recommendations? Searching the interwebs the Cobra Neighbor haters and the Rhinehart DBX seem to be popular choices.

The M8 does not get as loud as a Twin cam running the same pipes. Many of these Louder pipes have huge baffles in them and will hurt low end torque and still not the loud your looking for.

Others will chime in, and will give you some recommendations. My suggestion is listen to different M8 exhausts in person and see what you like. Just know the down side to performance of wide open mufflers.

Harley97,
I’m with you! I have 2020 RG CVO with the bronze heat shields.
I put the Fullsac 2.25” baffles in and, yes, its better. But still tame...as you suggest.
Problem is that you really can’t change much else, except the pipes, without voiding your warranty...as I understand it. So you have to wait until the warranty expires (2 years) or bite the bullet and dive in by losing your warranty. Being that mine is about 6 months away, I am doing the research now. Considering the Fullsac MX pipe + TTW tuner. But open to other ideas.
I did reach out to Steve at Fullsac. It looks like he doesn’t take bikes in for the install anymore. So I need to find a shop in the Southern Cal area that can do the work. Steve referred me to a guy in Yuma...but I haven’t reached out yet. And Steve recommended a TTS cam.
Also, the guys at my Dealership showed me a Stage IV kit that can be added to the 117 motor that costs about $2600. I’m not sure if that would truly be of any benefit. The plus side is that they are telling me that we can do this Stage IV and the warranty stays intact.
Joe

Try the Tab slip-ons with Zombie baffles. You can use your heat shields and your muffler endcap so you will retain the stock look. These are the loudest mufflers I’ve heard on a stock bike. Not to my taste but if you want loud it’s a way to go.

I called TAB regarding this plan for a my 21 Road Glide in Bronze Armor. I wanted to retain the bronze heat shields and the OEM tips. They said the shields will fit the 4" muffler but not the 4.5" which would be ok, but the mufflers will only line up with one of the screw holes in the OEM tip and will need modification. Still isn't too bad just wish the tips were direct fit.

The voiding the warranty part is BS. Look at the Magnuson Moss act. They cant void you entire warranty for modifications or for doing work yourself or not having the dealer do work and service. It's illegal. They can only not honor the warranty on something that your modification caused.

I'm eventually planning to get the 131 stage IV installed, just can't do that in CA yet.

Thanks, I'll look into those.

Yep, install a head-pipe and take it out of EPA compliance and warranty is void. Magnuson Moss act does nothing for that, as it no longer meets requirements of the law, and its void. Same thing with an after market tuner with wide oping adjustments.,

The SE tuner is approved because it is not capable of taking you bike out of an EPA compliant tune.

Pretty easy for Harley to win this. You put an aftermarket head-pipe on, and aftermarket tuner on and your compensator fails. Harley will not replace under warranty. You say it covered and take it to court, they will show the extra power caused it to fail.

Check out westendmotorsports YouTube page, videos can be tricky but they have clips of most all of the heavy players, it will at least give some kind of idea.
