Default Electrical question with HD part #71400129

I am looking for a part number or link to an add on connector for a power source, connecting to a connector behind the right side cover, 2018 CVO Road Glide?

Buddy says Harley has one but he couldn't recall part # .

I am trying to eliminate so many wires on my battery posts with added accessories, just bought a set of Clearwater lights and trying to not hook them up directly to the battery but an alternate power source, or directly to battery and move something else.

I am also looking for info on the above part # that says "Fits '17-later Electra GlideŽ, Street GlideŽ, Road GlideŽ, Ultra Limited™ and Tri Glide™ models. Does not fit CVO™ models." It is an auxiliary power switch kit - fairing mount.

Why will it not fit and is there part to accomplish the same thing?

I found these 2 part #'s too.....70270-04A electrical accessory adapter and #69201599A electrical connection update kit.

If you want to add another switch to your front fairing panel, check with the dealer for the right kit for your bike. I’m sure they have one that will work. Not sure why the standard 71400129 won’t work on a cvo.

Your CVO has the switch blanks on the left side. Those other models have the switch blanks on the right side. The kit comes with this right side switch assembly.

It is side specific. It won't fit the left side unless the assembly is inverted which also inverts the symbols on the switch caps, however the switch caps can be carefully removed, and reinstalled in the correct orientation.
