I've done fullsac power cores on my last two CVO's. Love em, keep stock look and sound good. Anyway, buddy bought a 2022 CVO Road Glide and asked dealer to install power cores. I did mine myself on both mine, no issues. He said dealer is telling him right side muffler has the two spot welds on outlet but also 3 spot welds on inlet. They can't get to the inlet ones, even buggered up the stock muffler trying. My 22 CVO Road Glide didn't have this issue. Same bike different color is all. Dealer went and pulled another stock muffler from shelf and it is also is welded on both ends. Anyone seen this? Dealer is stumped, think they have call into fullsac but was I'm sure closed for weekend. Thanks.
I have a pair being delivered tomorrow for my '21 Ultra CVO. I ordered the 2.25" along with the blanket & sleeve. I don't want an obnoxious sound, but do want it to be more aggressive than the stock. What do you guys recommend?
I told my buddy to do that, they are great to deal with. Dealership and my buddy emailed and called Friday, they we're probably off. I'm sure they'll try again Monday. It's not a fullsac issue, I'm thinking Harley maybe had a vendor change so something is slightly different, who knows. But my bike arrived at dealer in July so can't imagine there would be anything different but appears to be.

I've done the 2" with blanket and sleeve on my last two. It was the sweet spot for me. Much better rumble than stock but still I'd say quieter than a Rhinehart or similar slip on. Wife rides her own bike behind me so don't want it too loud, I think it's pretty good. Very similar to some Vance and Hines oval slip ons in my previous non cvo bikes. I still have stock head pipe too.
Sounds like the one stock core, can't remember but think right side was welded on both ends. Dealership said it was PIA but they got the inlet welds off and swapped cores. I suppose you'll need some very long grinder attachment.
