Default M8 cvo muffler baffle removal

Morning everyone, I posted a thread regarding aftermarket Slipons for my 2020 tri glide CVO. I used Full Sac internals on my 2016 CVO. At that time Harley just had three spot welds to grind out to remove the internals. Now on the M8 Harley welds the baffle all the way around the pipes instead of the three spot welds. Any suggestions on cutting the weld without damaging the pipe(ie, Dremel, grinder, hole saw or machine shop) Thanks

It will sound a lot better if you just take a 5/16 or 3/8 long twist drill and drill a hole in it. Start with one in the center and then go by the way it sounds. One sounds like a cam. Don't kill your bottom in or engine brake by getting too carried away. .

I took a Dremel to mine, Worked my way around as much as I could then took a chisel to it to knock it out. I took a while but was worth it in the end. I had the 2 inch Full sac baffles and loved them. Remember your cat is in the headpipe and creating your back pressure. the size of the full sac baffles just change the sound.

Bummer to hear. I just put the fullsac 1 3/4" baffles in my twinkie CVOs and I love them. I should make a post about how happy I am with the baffles.

Hopefully you are able to find a way to get them out without destroying the mufflers. Mine came out pretty easily with a rasp in a die grinder.
