Just picked up my 23 Street Glide CVO. I definitively need a better windshield. I see posts about the H-D wind splitter. Has anyone tried it yet? I had a wind splitter for a 23 SGS but the distortion in the flare was unacceptable. Reviewing H-Ds video on it looks like there is some distortion when looking at the wrench hanging on the wall.
I put the 8" windsplitter on mine, works great. If I were looking at the road at about a distance of 3' from me, I could see distortion. But, you shouldn't be riding like that anyways. As a reference, I'm 5'8''.
Thanks for the replies. How is the windshield height measured, from the top of the fairing dash? Their web site does not state what the measurements are based on.
