And if y'all didn't get to experience the 2007 110 roll out, you just don't know what you missed. It jaded me.
Best of luck guys I know the MOCO will resolve the bugs, hopefully sooner than later
I was one of the guinea pigs in 2007 with a FLHRSE. Got lucky and didnt have any motor issues like others but only kept it for little over a year as the horror stories kept piling up. That was definitely the worst intro I remember. And the MoCo didnt resolve issues on that motor for years. I luv my harleys but they dont get a free pass on this kind of crap.
I would be angry and upset to experience these kinds of issues! Unexpected mechanical problems is one thing, stuff that should have been fixed in beta testing is another!
Harley has never released a new Infotainment system with out bugs and glitches that need updates. I had second year with the GT system, and I knew it still had bugs when I bought it but they were minor. Got the first year with the GTS, and it had more bugs and glitches than the GT, they did up dates on that system for years trying to fix everything. I have a first year Pan America Special, Has more bugs than the GT and GTS, way more. They are still doing updates on it. So now I am first year with the IFCU, and I would be an Idiot if I thought this would have no issues given Harleys track record with electronics and its software.
I'm not mad, none of it has effected the usability for me yet. Most are minor annoyances, like having to pause the music to take a call, because it docent stop playing. Music doesn't pause for NAV prompts on CarPlay either. As for this new update bricking the head unit, it's not the first time Harley has released updates that have done that. I always wait a week or two after the update to do it.

Oh, it's coming. Right now, when my bike connects to WiFi it updates my HD app with my bike status, like miles and such. Soon it will do like my Bronco, or my wife's Jeep.

I would say the 2007 110 was worst launch, the 2021 Pan America was next followed by this. Honestly the M8 ties with this due to sumping.

Dudes with the CVO RG got lucky with the technical glitches. Releasing a SG unstable at high speeds makes it one of the worst launches imo. I've participated in 3 new launches, this time I chose to buy an almost new 2022 cvo instead of buying a 2023 new platform bike.
The 2007 110 has to be the worst launch. They did however, come up with a fix that worked. My buddy had the warping on his 2008 CVO Road King and it was fixed under warranty. He had no more trouble related to cylinder warping but he did have the lifters fail around 37,000 miles that took out his engine. That cost him $6,000 for an entire rebuild to 117.

Point taken on the CVO Street Glide. How Harley could not have know about the high speed wobble before release is beyond me.
