Accessory Mode Help
I'm sure there's an easy solution to this, so hopefully one of you can make me feel like an idiot.
On the 2023.5 and up CVOs, how do you leave it in accessory mode when you turn the engine off?
To use acc mode before you start it, you simply hold the toggle button down. But, once the bike is started and you want to turn it off, your only option is to hit the kill switch which also kills the acc power.
Is there a way to keep power to the stereo after you shut down the engine?
On the earlier models, you would simply rotate the key/handlebar lock mechanism to the acc position. This isn't an option on the newer models.

I "skimmed" for it and found it easily in an OM
Accessory Mode
See Operation → Left Hand Control Switches → Left Hand Control Module (LHCM)
. With the key fob present, press and hold the trip switch. The instruments and accessory circuit are powered. The headlamp and turn signal lamps remain off. While in accessory mode, the IFCU displays the fuel gauge and odometer functions. The headlamp can be activated by pressing the headlamp flash to pass switch.
To turn the motorcycle back off, press and hold the trip switch.
Do not leave the motorcycle in accessory mode for an extended time. This can discharge the battery. If the vehicle is left in accessory mode for 2 hours, the motorcycle automatically shuts off to prevent complete battery discharge. To resume accessory mode, press and hold the trip switch again.

I had the same question when I got mine, sat down to go through the manual, got distracted and forgot about it. The times I've wanted it to stay on but not be in "run" I just hit the accessory button immediately after the kill switch and the screen comes right back, it doesn't have to reboot or anything just pops right back up. It works for me every time and maybe that's the only way to do it, but it seems more like a hack than the intended way to do it. Hopefully I think to look again the next time I have the manual out.
This is only way I have found to keep accessory mode active when shutting off engine. Works great for quick gas stops so I do not have to wait for bike to reboot.

I figured this out as well, but then it’s not in ACC mode, the headlight remains on in this case.
