Thank you ALL for your input. I've been really pleased with my 2014 Ultra Limited, except for the harsh ride (I didn't know it was harsh til I rode a newer Goldwing). I'm glad you confirmed what I was feeling - just not driven to buy this bike right now. The OTD price with the king tour pack installed was $52k.
I may have bought it if the color knocked my socks off and if the ride was great - but it's not.

FWIW, I own and have ridden snowmobiles for many years. This is a platform that's all about weight reduction, composite materials, power to weight, and suspension galore... my current ride has 4 Kashima coated Fox Shox with compression and rebound adjustment (10-14" of travel0. These are not cheap (or appropriate for a street bike). I'm not suggesting HD put these type of shocks on the bikes, but for goodness sake do something.
I think the travel on my 2014 is actually the same or greater than the 2024 RG (4.6 forks, 3.x rear).

I also was disappointed in the feel of the clutch. The lever felt like a plastic piece of junk.
@kojack @FLSTFI Dave That is some great advice... exactly what I was thinking on the 25 RG Limited. I think it would be better suited for my situation.

I pretty much agree with everything Kojak said except the new model thing like he said. I bought my first CVO in 09 and am on my 8th one. I ride about 20K a year.

In both the Car, Truck and motorcycle world many believe in the do not buy first or second model year of a new design. Wait a couple years for them to work the bugs out. Nothing wrong with that. Someone was to buy the first model year or the product won't make the second model year. I have had good luck buying first model year, bougt the 2001 GMC first year Duramax, best one of the 3 I owned. Bought the first year 14 Corvette Stingray, trouble free. First year M8, it was trouble free for me, many had sumping issue. I bought the First year Pan America Special. I had a few issues, nothing serious or that has stopped me from enjoying the bike. I have almost 25K on it. Bought the 23.5 CVO Road Glide with the VVT 121. Mechanically zero issues in 18,000 miles. An few bugs in the IFCU but nothing serious. Love the bike
