Seat Question

Has anyone tried a 2024 Street Glide CVO seat on a previous generation 2017 Street Glide CVO? If so what modifications were necessary?

My understanding is they do not fit. A friend just traded his 2021 SGS for a new 2025 SG and his seat could not be moved to the new bike according to him.

looks like you are asking if the seat from a newer bike will fit on an older one......the opposite does not work.....in other words....a seat that fits a '17 may not fit a '25.....but the reason is that it pushes off the side panels.....it actually fits on there, if you nix the side panels.....as for fitting a '24 seat on a '17....my guess is that it will fit but may not look right....i could be wrong
