I was wondering has anyone encountered a bad pig tail to charge for the battery tender. I ordered a new pig tail to mount to the battery's bike and when I traced the pig tail on the side where the 50 amp fuse is, it seems my pig tail on my CVO is wrapped in the factory wiring loom. I didn't really want to tear all the loom apart. Is everyone's CVO like this? The guys at Harley told me this shouldn't be like this? I was thinking of tucking the original one behind the plastic and just connecting the new one to the battery? Anyone have any experience with this that they can relate?

First off, ensure the 20 amp P&A fuse is installed and functional (not blown). Below is an image from your Owner's manual.
Secondly, who are the "the guys at Harley", sales staff, parts counter staff, or service staff? Big difference between the three when being told "this shouldn't be like this".
The guys at the parts counter. The male pin on the connector is broken off so it won't connect to my HD Tender. I wanted to change the whole pig tail but it seems to be wrapped including in the loom and wrapped with a plastic protector going back to the battery! I can send you a picture if I do not make any sense?

The part you need is 69200212. MSRP is $11.38. Unfortunately, it's not plug & play. It's necessary to cut the defective connector out, and splice the replacement into the main harness.
Or if you do not want to splice in the connector stated above, you can order the complete harness.
Part Number 69202628

Alternatively you can just tape off the offending connector and put one of these on your battery terminals, just make sure there is a washer above the connections and you tighten it down with a 10mm socket or wrench. Positive first, neutral second.
