Default Twist grip question.

I have a 23 CVO RG with a throttle issue. Can anyone tell me if there is a plastic insert in the twist grip slot that would limit the amount of rotation the grip turns? I can find anything on it in the OE parts.

The TBW unit is a single piece unit, all stops are built in to that piece. The whole unit slides in to 2 notches on the handlebar.

Mine is not a one piece unit. The grip sides ove the bar and mates up to the twist grip sensor. It is limited by a post that snaps over the inside portion of the grip and rides in a slot in the grip.

The "grip" slips over the TBW unit which is anchored in the bars with the notches. It can only go in 1 way which also allows the heated right grip to plug in. What problem are you trying to solve?

This is on the newer 23.5 CVO RG where the grip lines up into the switch assembly that holds the Twist Grip Sensor. The problem is that in the last few degrees of twist, the engine drops to idle as if in limp mode, throws an error and turns off TC and Cruise. It is no a true limp mode because when i let off the twist grip the few degrees from.full twist the engine continues to run as it should. I changed the Twist Grip Sensor with no change in the problem. I've also confirmed it is not in the handlebar bar wiring.

Is it still under factory warranty?

No. Warranty robably wouldn't apply as the ECU has been changed as well as the throttle body.
