I have a 2005 1200 custom with screaming eagle exhaust 2and I believe the carb has been rejetted and upgraded airfilter? (Not sure because this is my first HD). A friend of my said I should remove the baffles from the exhaust so I did and it is louder and sounds better but I don't know if this will mess mybike up if I rideitthis way for very long?
Does mymotorcycle need the back pressure of the baffles to run correctly? Will bike run leaner or rich?
When I pulled the baffles out they are black sooted. This bike has 3300 miles on it and runs great with or without the baffles.
